Serving the Maryland Community since 1972
La Dolce Vita Charities, LLC is a 501(c)3 registered organization founded in 1972. Our primary purpose is to raise funds that are distributed annually to local and national charities. In addition, we seek to promote the values and traditions of the Italian Community in Maryland. The Italian community has a well-established history of charitable giving and support for our brothers and sisters. Our history
In 1972, our seven founding members saw a need to organize efforts around fostering Italian community interests and supporting those in need. They formed a supper group that met monthly and, over some pasta and red wine, formulated methods to raise and distribute funds. The result is our hugely successful fundraising events and drawings, and as we approach our 50th year has provided many thousands of dollars to worthy charities.
Our mission
We serve two functions: to promote the values and traditions of the Italian community in Maryland and to raise funds for worthy charities.
